Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Explores Potential Partnerships with Mauritanian Government
Dubai: 30 December, 2009 – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation announced it received His Excellency Mohamed Moussa Weld Baba, First Counselor at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the United Arab Emirates, to discuss potential partnerships between the Foundation and educational and entrepreneurial organizations based in the north African country.
Adel Al Shared, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, and Sultan Lootah, Vice-President for Entrepreneurship and Employment Sector, offered a detailed update on the Foundation’s objectives and accomplishments to date.
Adel Al Shared said: “It is the Foundation’s endeavour to identify and take forward all collaborations that will lead to a continued development of sustainable knowledge-based economies in the Arab World. We hope to find suitable opportunities to partner with institutions in Mauritania for achieving a wider reach and ensuring that our programmes are available to a larger cross-section of its citizens.”
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation has tied up with several regional institutions to devise programmes that help build a stronger knowledge-base and skill-set, and develop a generation that is equipped with the ability to face the challenges of sustainable development in the Arab World.
