To achieve its broad mission, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation focuses its work in the following three areas:

I- Knowledge Production

This Sector of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation aims at developing future leaders and creating a knowledge-based society by recognising, promoting and reinstating the role of culture, heritage and cross-cultural understanding in the region.

In this respect, the Foundation is committed to:

Expanding access to and participation in culture
Promoting respect for culture and stimulating creativity and imagination
Fostering intercultural dialogue to promote mutual understanding of regional culture and history

II- Entrepreneurship Development

This Sector aims at developing future leaders and creating a knowledge-based society by promoting business excellence, empowering Arab entrepreneurs to innovate and facilitating job creation in the region.

In this respect, the Foundation is committed to:

Promoting business initiative and entrepreneurship among youth and equipping them with necessary tools
Facilitating job creation
Providing platforms for decision-makers to exchange dialogue and expertise

III- Human Capital Development

This Sector aims at developing future leaders and creating a knowledge-based society by elevating research, knowledge creation and the infrastructure of higher education to international standards.

In this respect, the Foundation is committed to:

Building a core base of talented and highly educated future leaders
Supporting and advancing research
Establishing a network of scholars, intellectuals and industry leaders, who will share knowledge and expertise to help promote research and knowledge creation and enhance education in the region.
